The SPX 6700 is part of Cobra's new line of high grade radar/laser detection equipment. This unit offers an extended detection range, the ability to detect ALL radar/laser guns currently used, and can even pinpoint what signal is being detected using the bright LED display. This is a must have for frequent travelers or those with extended commutes. You can drive with peace of mind knowing you'll be alerted well in advance of speed traps. It's compact design allows for discrete placement and is so powerful it actually doubles the detection range of previous models.

It's detection range is effectively double that of prior models. POP mode/Instant-on easily detects the most advanced radar guns beyond the effective range of the gun's themselves. LaserEye gives full 360 detection of laser signals and Intellishield vastly improves screening out of false positives.
Bigger isn't always better. The SPX 6700's compact size is the first thing you'll notice. Easily place this on your dash or snug up to the rear-view mirror without drawing unnecessary attention. When it alerts you, it also gives you an estimation of how close the radar is. You're notified the instant in-range radar/laser hits thanks to it's powerful CPU and low-noise signal amplifiers. Advanced muting with IntelliMute eliminates voice alerts when you don't need them by suppressing them based on your engine's RPM. This feature can be manually adjusted to your preference.
The Cobra SPX 6700 comes with an easy to read organic LED display with white text. It's bright enough to read in daytime lighting and is easily dimmed while driving at night. Strobe alert detection gives you advanced notice of nearby emergency vehicles. Full Spectre/VG alerts mean you can detect even the highest tech radar guns while remaining completely undetectable.
Overall this is a very impressive little unit. It does what it needs to do and gives you the advantage of vastly expanded range of detection. It's very simple and easy to use and you don't have to be constantly annoyed by irrelevant barking thanks to Intellimute and Intellishield. If it saves you even one speeding ticket then the unit can easily pay for itself in one shot.
