Pros & Cons:
For under $250 this unit is an absolute steal. Con's are that it's missing HD Radio and SiriXM and has a smaller screen than the higher up models.

The AVH X2600BT is a CD/DVD in-dash receiver made by Pioneer. It delivers premium sound/video quality while delivering many useful extra's. You can watch movies on the 6.1" touch screen display, take calls with the Blue-tooth, mirror link for your iPod/Android apps, Pandora internet radio, Mixtrax, and so much more. The layout has an intuitive feel, the touch screen is very responsive and this unit includes a remote as well.

Pandora Radio comes pre-installed and ready to use. The nice thing about this is not only can you browse and listen to your favorite internet stations, but you can even thumb up/down them for it to continually improve it's content for you without ever picking up your iPod/android!

The AVH X2600BT comes comes with a wireless remote, responsive 6.1" color touchscreen display, and is compatible with steering wheel controls. It features a 50 watt peak output with 3 sets of RCA preouts that make connecting a sound system simple. An optional feature that originally drew me to these models is the rear view camera. You do need to purchase of the camera separately, but they can be found pretty cheap believe it or not. Just screw it onto the license plate and plug the cable into the receiver.

If your not familiar with Mixtrax, it's basically a DJ type app for your music. It smoothly fades from one song to the next, carefully matching the beat and genre. It has many other options, such as the ability to listen only to the middle portion of songs and visualization effects. Also Included is an 8 band EQ with an "Auto" setting that automatically adjusts for the interior of your car. For communication, it's Bluetooth compatible right out of the box. There is also an optional mic receiver that can be installed. The USB port is in the back of the unit but an extension is provided for easy access.

All in all, this is a very attractive unit and will likely end up out selling all of the other models. It's missing HD Radio and SiriusXM but you can find this unit at the link below for less than $250. That's cheap!! For that price you get a quality CD/DVD receiver with the color touchscreen and remote along with Pandora radio, Mixtrax, & Bluetooth. As with all Pioneer receivers, the sound produced is top quality. You don't need to upgrade your speakers to notice a big jump in volume and quality.
